The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
